Zeracryl AS was established in 2007, after several years of development of the Zeracryl method™. The company is a collaboration with several inventors, Matforsk AS and Bioparken AS, both located at Campus Ås, about 35 km south of Oslo.

The company has attracted the attention of national and international specialists, and aims to offer a complate package for reduction of acrylamide to the food industry.

Key Personell

Morten Isaksen, Ph.D

CEO

Morten has a Ph.D in biotechnology from the University of Oslo. The last 10 years he has worked with business development in Norway and the UK. In that capacity, Morten has been instrumental in setting up several companies and supporting their international strategies.

Hans Blom, Ph.D.

CSO

Hans has over decades worked with food safety and bacteriology at Matforsk AS (Norwegian Fodd Research Institute), and also acts as a senior advisor on Food safety for Matforsk. In that capacity, he has gained extensive insight into the challanges of the food industry, and has been working with processes for reducing acrylamide in food since 2002. Hans is one of the original inventors of the Zeracryl method™.

Anne Bjørnebye Vik

Ph.D

Chairman, Board of Directors

Anne has a PhD in Biochemistry from University of Oslo and holds a MBA from the Norwegian School of Management. She has long experience in research in the healthcare industry, both in Nycomed Pharma and the Norwegian Radium Hospital. Before joining NattoPharma, Anne was COO in a genomics based commercial research company.
